THURSDAY 27th AND 28th NOVEMBER: closed
During Christmas time, the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa will be open in the following opening hours:

FROM TUESDAY TO THURSDAY: from 10:00 am to 07:00 pm (last admission 06:00 pm)
FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY: from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm (last admission 09:00 pm)

FROM MONDAY TO SUNDAY: from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm (last admission 09:00 pm)
CLOSING DAYS: 1, 9, 15, 25 december
FROM 2nd TO 6th JANUARY 2026

Tickets can be bought directly at the museum’s ticket counter on arrival.
THE ENTRACE FEES BELOW WILL NOT BE APPLIED DURING CHRISTMAS PERIOD, FROM 29 NOVEMBER 2025 TO 6 JANUARY 2026

Entrance Fee plus Guided Tour
A virtual journey on board the one-and-only Bayard, a multimedia attraction in augmented reality, can be added to the visit with an extra fee of € 1.00 (while available seats last).
Reduced rates apply to minors between the age of 6-17.
Entry is free for children under 6 and for visitors with a disability and accompanying companion (when applicable).
Groups of 15 or more visitors can pre-book.
Guided tours are held on Thursday at 04.00 pm, on Friday at 12.00 pm and 04.00 pm, and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays at 11.00 am, 12.30, 03.00 and 05.00 pm, and may be pre-booked during the other days of the week. Guided tours in English on Saturday and Sunday at 04.00 pm.
Standard tickets (both full and discounted) can be upgraded to include the guided tour at an extra cost of € 2.00 per person and is only purchasable at the Museum’s ticket counter.

Entry to the museum is free of charge to all those who arrive on board out heritage “Pietrarsa Express” trains with a return ticket.
Thursdays at the Museum
Take advantage of Thursday special offer: full adult price 5.00€ discounted 4.00€ (minors 6-17 yrs).
Saturdays at the Museum with the "Arlecchino" ticket
Every Saturday, enjoy the “Arlecchino” special offer (from 02.00 pm to closing time) for groups comprised of two adults (any gender) and two minors (6-17 yrs) and purchase a 15.00€ ticket.
Have a full steam Birthday
On the day of your birthday, arriving at the Museum of Pietrarsa together with at least one paying person, you will be entitled to have a free entry ticket to visit the entire collection.
If the birthday occurs in a closing day of the Museum, the free entry ticket can be requested within 7 days.
In case of coincidence with events organized by the Museum, an advanced reservation will be required.
Special offers cannot be combined with any other ongoing offers or promotions.

Visitors arriving at the Museum of Pietrarsa with a ticket for the Aquarium, the Darwin-Dohrn Museum or the Turtle Point, purchased within 30 days, will be entitled to a reduced ticket of € 6.00.
