The National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa is open in the following opening hours:
WEDNESDAY: advanced booking required
THURSDAY: from 09:30 am to 08:00 pm
FRIDAY: from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm
SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS: from 09:30 am to 07:30 pm

SATURDAY 14th FEBRUARY: the Museum will be partially visitable from 05:30 pm

FROM THURSDAY 26th MARCH TO WEDNESDAY 1st APRIL: closed
Tickets can be bought directly at the museum’s ticket counter on arrival.
Entrance Fee
Entrance Fee plus Guided Tour
A virtual journey on board the one-and-only Bayard, a multimedia attraction in augmented reality, can be added to the visit with an extra fee of € 1.00 (while available seats last).
Reduced rates apply to minors between the age of 6-17.
Entry is free for children under 6 and for visitors with a disability and accompanying companion (when applicable).
Groups of 15 or more visitors can pre-book.
Guided tours are held on Thursday at 04.00 pm, on Friday at 12.00 pm and 04.00 pm, and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays at 11.00 am, 12.30, 03.00 and 05.00 pm, and may be pre-booked during the other days of the week. Guided tours in English on Saturday and Sunday at 04.00 pm.
Standard tickets (both full and discounted) can be upgraded to include the guided tour at an extra cost of € 2.00 per person and is only purchasable at the Museum’s ticket counter.

Special discount also for visitors arriving at the Museum with a return ticket for the "Pietrarsa Express" heritage train, valid on the same day. They can purchase an entry ticket to the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa for € 1.00.
Holders of a one-way ticket for the "Pietrarsa Express" heritage train, valid on the same day, can purchase an entry ticket to the Museum at the reduced price of € 6.00.

Take advantage of Thursday special offer: full adult price 5.00€ discounted 4.00€ (minors 6-17 yrs).
Saturdays at the Museum with the "Arlecchino" ticket
Every Saturday, enjoy the “Arlecchino” special offer (from 02.00 pm to closing time) for groups comprised of two adults (any gender) and two minors (6-17 yrs) and purchase a 15.00€ ticket.
Have a full steam Birthday
On the day of your birthday, arriving at the Museum of Pietrarsa together with at least one paying person, you will be entitled to have a free entry ticket to visit the entire collection.
If the birthday occurs in a closing day of the Museum, the free entry ticket can be requested within 7 days.
In case of coincidence with events organized by the Museum, an advanced reservation will be required.
