Visits for schools

The Museum offers a whole host of activities for kids of all ages, from preschoolers up to those in high school. At Pietrarsa the trains and locomotives which forged the history of Italy and its railways take them on a wonderful journey catapulting them back in time.

The Museum offers specialised tours for school groups, re-enactments, workshops and special projects, which can be topic or subject specific and tailored to individual age groups. Each tour encourages the active participation of our young visitors  to discover the site’s history. The tours, organised in conjunction with local associations, include activities ranging from hands-on workshops to play-tours.
