The Railway of Wonders is one of Europe’s most spectacular railway routes, a historic journey linking the Alps to the Mediterranean through impressive viaducts, tunnels, and valleys of extraordinary beauty. Departing from Turin, the train travels along the most scenic section between Cuneo and Tende, crosses the Roya Valley, and reaches Ventimiglia, where the landscape opens up onto the sea. The line has been recognized as a FAI Place of the Heart, a testament to its historical, cultural, and scenic significance.
