Teatro in treno sulla Ferrovia dei Templi

A theatrical piece by Agrigento-born director Marco Savatteri on board historic trains from 9 November.

On the occasion of Agrigento Italian Capital of Culture 2025, the Regional Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the FS Italian Foundation and the Agrigento Capital of Culture Foundation, is organizing 10 historic train journeys over 5 days between Agrigento Centrale station, the Valley of the Temples, and Porto Empedocle.

On board the train—made up of the historic “Terrazzini” carriages from the 1930s—actors from the company of Agrigento-born director Marco Savatteri will join passengers. Savatteri is renowned for staging spectacular sunrise performances in the heart of the Valley of the Temples.

50% discount for children from 4 to 12 years of age.

Free admission for children from 0 to 4 years of age. However, it is necessary to book a free ticket to secure a seat.

The indicated fare is valid for a single journey, either outbound or return
