On board “Il Treno del Confine” (The Border Train), passengers will embark on a journey through three emblematic sites in the history of Friuli Venezia Giulia — Palmanova, Gradisca d’Isonzo, and Redipuglia — retracing events from the 16th century to the last century.
The initiative is part of the GO!2025 program, celebrating the European Capital of Culture.

Please notice that the historic train will depart from Sagrado station at 5:05 PM

Bring your bike on board!

Get off the historic train and proceed to your favourite destinations. You can bring your bike for free and placing it in the specially equipped luggage van.
